Boutique law firm Bellevue Law continues to grow as it welcomes Faye Moore, a highly regarded litigator, to its team.
Faye has over 16 years’ experience managing a wide variety of complex, high-value, international disputes across numerous different sectors, including claims for breach of contract, negligence and fraud. She has previously worked in the litigation departments of top law firms, including SJ Berwin (now King & Wood Mallesons), Pinsent Masons and Hausfeld.
Faye’s most recent cases include a £1.3 billion fraudulent misrepresentation claim in the High Court and an international arbitration involving a £350 million dispute for a Belgian company against a Chinese publicly listed company. Faye is recommended in both the Chambers and Legal 500 directories, where she has been identified as a “Next Generation Partner”, “Rising Star” and “Associate to Watch”, and described by clients as “exceptional”, “very clever” and a “true pleasure to work with”.
Faye will focus on supporting the growth of Bellevue Law’s commercial litigation practice. This includes both large scale, technically complex disputes and mid-value contractual claims, which clients – and colleagues from City and international law firms who regularly refer these matters to Bellevue Law – trust the firm to handle practically and cost-effectively.
Faye also intends to develop a practice in discrimination and equal pay claims, particularly on behalf of women in professional services, based on her experience of issues faced by women in the sector and her commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion.
Faye says: “I’m very excited to help drive forward Bellevue Law’s litigation practice, through the provision of first-class legal advice and strategy, in a personable and cost-effective way. I’m really looking forward to joining Florence and the team, and to helping build and expand the practice.”
Florence Brocklesby, founder of Bellevue Law, says: “Faye’s vast experience in this field means that she’s a great asset to Bellevue Law and our clients, and will be vital in expanding our litigation practice. I am truly delighted to add a lawyer of her calibre to our team.”
