COVID-19: Bellevue Law’s approach

by Florence Brocklesby / Monday, 16 March 2020 / Published in News

30/03/20

At a time of unprecedent challenge for clients, colleagues and our community, we are continuing to monitor and implement government advice in relation to COVID-19/Coronavirus. Additionally, as a business set up to support flexible working, our IT systems have always allowed us to work remotely, and our team is able to provide a full service to clients away from the office.

At present, to help lessen the spread of the virus:

  • We are now offering Zoom videoconferencing in place of in-person meetings.
  • For private clients who might usually ask us to witness execution of their wills, we can provide advice on how this can be done remotely.
  • We are monitoring the approach of the Courts and Tribunals to hearings, and are able to participate by telephone or videoconference where appropriate.

Additionally, to support the community during this period, we have teamed up with Stephenson Law  to provide free weekly Coronavirus Legal Q&A webinars every Friday at 9.30 am.  You can find a link to the most recent webinar, plus common employment law FAQs here.

We recognise the disruption the virus, and measures put in place to limit its spread, will cause to individuals and businesses alike, and remain open for business and ready to support our clients during this challenging period.
