For the past few years, we have been the proud co-sponsor of Home-Start Wandsworth Christmas Carol Service, and this year is no different.
There’s no more festive event than the annual service, which will take place on Wednesday 14th December, at St Anne’s Church in Wandsworth.
Bellevue Law’s founder, Florence Brocklesby, said: “Home-start provides amazing practical support to vulnerable local families. Every Home-Start volunteer is trained to work alongside families giving much-needed confidential support and friendship to families with children under the age of five.“They help families through various issues from isolation, to mental and physical health, to financial or housing problems to postnatal depression and more.
“The carol service holds a special place for us each year at Bellevue Law, it’s a beautiful service for the community that has the added benefit of being for an exceptionally good cause.”
The event includes a mixture of professional singing, a children’s choir, and celebrity readings, accompanied by mulled wine and mince pies
Tickets can be purchased here (for £25 plus a small booking fee). All funds go towards providing Home-Start support to vulnerable, local families.
Readers this year will include Howards’ Way star Jan Harvey, award-winning actors Isabella Inchbald and Samuel West, musician, broadcaster and entertainer Richard Stilgoe, and local MP Marsha de Cordova.
