Oliver is a seasoned commercial litigator having spent over 10 years at Withers and Lipman Karas. He has acted for high-net-worth individuals, businesses and sovereign states; as an Italian speaker his clients have often been Italian.

Oliver’s practice has included proceedings for breach of contract, fraud, insolvency, intellectual property and injunctive relief, often involving multiple parties, foreign law and overseas proceedings. He has extensive experience of arbitration and trials at all levels as well as alternative methods of settling disputes.
At Withers Oliver gained specialist knowledge of, and experience in, art-related disputes.
Oliver’s recent experience includes acting for a claimant in an international, multi-million Euro, arbitration and for an employer claimant in High Court proceedings arising from a team move. He has also advised an individual client on the terms and effect of a multi-million pound freezing order, represented a luxury service provider on the settlement of a commercial dispute and advised on the breakdown of business relationships, including parties’ rights as shareholders and employees.
Oliver is also able to advise employees on the terms and effect of settlement agreements on the termination of employment.
