Victoria has the advantage of having sat on both sides of the negotiating table as she advises both employers and employees. Her practice covers a broad range of employment law issues including commencement and termination of employment (particularly at senior executive level), family friendly rights, enforcement of confidentiality and post-termination restriction provisions, disciplinary, grievance and performance issues, and advising on TUPE and redundancy programmes.
"Can I say what a pleasure it has been to have your advice and support in this process. I feel so lucky to have had the recommendation and I will certainly be recommending you to others."
Her experience includes: drafting and advising on numerous employment contracts and service agreements for both employees and LLP members (including for a global private equity firm with a complicated funds and tax structure); representing clients in multiple complex negotiated terminations; advising on Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation; project managing a major redundancy and TUPE consultation process; advising a multinational corporation on performance and grievance issues in respect of a key senior executive; and advising an employer on alleged breaches of restrictive covenants and confidentiality on a team move by former employees to a competitor.
Victoria is recommended in the Legal 500 2021 as: "delightful to work with, clear in communication, managed my expectations well and went above and beyond in providing highly technical and timely counsel on the engagement. I would certainly work with Victoria again and would have no hesitation in recommending her or Bellevue Law in the future."
The Legal 500 2022 states that: "Clients recommend Victoria Misselbrook for her skilled handling of cases for senior executives in the financial services and other sectors."
Victoria is a fluent Spanish speaker and has extensive experience of providing employment training.
In addition to her legal practice, Victoria has previously worked at the BBC as a Researcher and Production-Coordinator, at both BBC Current Affairs Television and BBC Television News for shows including Panorama (BBC One), This World (BBC Two), The Third Degree (BBC Three) and BBC Four Current Affairs.
