Bellevue Law Founder and Principal Florence Brocklesby has been featured in a recent Law Gazette article examining the evolving role of hybrid working across the legal profession.
The article, Flexible working: Home and away, explores how law firms continue to balance flexibility, collaboration, supervision and workplace culture more than six years after the pandemic transformed working practices across the sector.
Drawing on Bellevue Law’s long-standing hybrid operating model, Florence shared her perspective on the opportunities and challenges that flexible working presents for legal employers and their people.
Among the issues highlighted was the need for consistency between formal policies and day-to-day practice. Florence noted that while hybrid working can offer significant benefits, differences in how policies are applied can create challenges, particularly for junior lawyers who may rely more heavily on in-person learning, mentoring and networking opportunities.
