Workplace law and commercial disputes specialist Bellevue Law has appointed Natalie Saunders as a Senior Consultant, further enhancing the firm’s capability in complex employment law, workplace investigations and organisational culture advisory.
Natalie’s appointment is Bellevue’s latest senior hire as the firm continues to expand in response to growing demand.
Natalie brings over 25 years’ experience in employment law, having qualified at Freshfields in 2000 before going on to found her own highly successful boutique practice, Pharos Legal, in 2011. Her work has attracted high rankings in both the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners directories.
In addition to her private practice experience, Natalie has held senior in-house HR roles in financial services and served as HR Director at Leeds Beckett University. This combination of legal, HR and regulatory expertise enables her to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused advice, particularly to employers operating in FCA/PRA-regulated environments.
Natalie advises both employers and senior individuals on complex and sensitive matters, including discrimination, reputational risk and exits, often in the context of the Senior Managers’ and Certification Regime. She is also widely recognised for helping organisations diagnose and resolve complex people issues, with a strong focus on culture, leadership, psychological safety and performance.
A significant part of her practice involves supporting Boards and senior leadership teams through culture reviews and workplace investigations. Natalie has also led major culture review projects, including root cause analysis of retention and sickness absence issues, as well as advising on organisational design, incentives and leadership development to strengthen performance and culture.
Commenting on the appointment, Bellevue Law’s founder Florence Brocklesby said: “Natalie’s combination of senior HR, regulatory and legal experience makes her an outstanding addition to Bellevue Law. Her ability to support Boards and senior leaders in navigating complex cultural and people challenges, alongside her deep technical expertise, aligns perfectly with our focus on delivering strategic, high-value advice to our clients.”
Natalie Saunders added: “I’m delighted to be joining Bellevue Law at such an exciting stage in its growth. The firm’s model of delivering partner-level expertise in a highly agile and client-focused way strongly resonates with my own approach. I look forward to working with the team to support organisations and senior individuals in navigating complex workplace challenges and building high-performing, healthy cultures.”
