We were incredibly proud to sponsor the Ironsides Girls Rugby teams, alongside their cluster clubs Rosslyn Park and Barnes, at the Worthing 10s Girls Rugby Festival over the recent bank holiday weekend.
The festival brought together more than 1,000 players from across the country, creating a fantastic atmosphere and showcasing the rapidly growing strength of girls’ rugby. The standard of play was exceptional, with teamwork, resilience and skill on display throughout the weekend.
Both Ironsides squads delivered outstanding performances. The Under 14s finished an impressive 10th out of 25 teams, while the Under 12s achieved a brilliant 4th place finish out of 16 teams, a huge accomplishment and a testament to the players’ commitment, talent and hard work.
We were delighted to hear how much the girls enjoyed wearing their Bellevue Law-sponsored tour hoodies and bags with pride throughout the weekend. Crucially, our sponsorship also helped keep tour costs down, enabling more girls to take part who might not otherwise have been able to afford it. Making rugby more accessible and inclusive is something the club rightly values, and it’s a principle we strongly share.
At Bellevue Law, we believe that supporting grassroots sport makes a real difference. Initiatives like this don’t just develop athletic ability they help young people build confidence, friendships and a lifelong sense of community.
