We’re pleased to announce a new thought‑leadership collaboration with 9am Business, with Bellevue Law writing a regular employment law column for the publication throughout 2026.

The column will be published every two months and will focus on practical, employer‑focused analysis of key developments under the Employment Rights Act 2025 (ERA). The aim is to help business owners, HR professionals and senior leaders understand what legislative change means in practice and how to prepare effectively.

The first article, authored by Senior Consultant Imogen Finnegan, has now been published:

Employment Rights Act 2025: What Changed and What Should Employers Be Preparing for Next?

In the piece, Imogen explores:

  • the most significant ERA changes already in force
  • areas of uncertainty and likely future reform
  • practical steps employers should be taking now to mitigate risk

Future columns will cover a range of ERA‑related topics relevant to employers, including evolving dismissal protections, changes to contractual practices and developments affecting workplace policies and procedures. Where appropriate, articles will build on themes explored in Bellevue Law’s ERA‑focused mini podcast series, which can be accessed here: Podcasts.

This ongoing column reflects Bellevue Law’s commitment to providing clear, commercially grounded employment law guidance, and to contributing meaningfully to the wider business conversation on employment reform.
