Imogen advises both employers and employees on contentious and non-contentious matters. She advises clients across a range of sectors on all aspects of the employment relationship, from recruitment to managing exits.
For employers this work includes contract, handbook and policy reviews; drafting and negotiating contracts with senior executives; providing advice on day-to-day issues facing HR professionals; and supporting multi-jurisdictional projects. She has extensive experience of providing employment training to clients.
For employees, Imogen advises on a range of employment law queries, but has a particular expertise in advising on issues arising from women returning to work after maternity leave; redundancies; and managing exits.
In addition to her work as an employment lawyer, Imogen coaches individuals – particularly women – who are experiencing periods of change and uncertainty in their careers.
“Thanks to Imogen’s continuous efforts in managing difficult conversations with my employer, I have felt extremely supported since day one. Imogen’s support … has enabled me to bring the power back and regain control of a highly stressful situation. Imogen’s guidance throughout meant I was well informed every step of the way and meant I explored every possibly opportunity.”
“Imogen has been great to work with. She has good availability, is receptive and supportive whilst offering helpful well founded advice. Her communications are well considered and concise. She makes no secret of being a working Mum and manages that and her availability well around it. She has engaged with other colleagues and professional friends as required and to good effect. I have been extremely grateful for her help, support and understanding during a very difficult period of my employment.”
