Bellevue Law is proud to announce that five of our lawyers have been recognised on the 2026 Pro Bono Recognition List of England & Wales, published on Monday 20 April 2026.

The Pro Bono Recognition List celebrates solicitors, barristers, chartered legal executives, trade mark attorneys, patent attorneys and registered foreign and European lawyers who have each contributed 25 hours or more of pro bono legal assistance during the previous calendar year.

Endorsed by its Patron, The Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, The Baroness Carr of Walton‑on‑the‑Hill, the List is published under the aegis of the Attorney General’s Pro Bono Committee and is supported by the Law Society, the Bar Council, CILEX and all the major pro bono organisations.

In her message accompanying the 2026 List, the Lady Chief Justice thanked every lawyer recognised, noting the long tradition of the legal profession in volunteering time to provide free legal assistance to individuals and charities, and highlighting the vital role pro bono work plays alongside legal aid and the advice sector.

The Bellevue Law lawyers recognised in 2026 are:

Their inclusion on this year’s List reflects their personal commitment to providing high‑quality legal support to those who might otherwise be unable to access legal assistance.

While pro bono work is not a substitute for legal aid, it remains a valuable and integral part of the justice system. We are proud of our colleagues’ continued dedication to pro bono work and to supporting individuals and organisations in need.
