Alexandra specialises in commercial litigation and arbitration. She qualified as a solicitor in 2000, and spent 10 years working at magic circle law firm Allen & Overy before joining Bellevue Law in 2015.
Alexandra is a highly experienced commercial litigator with extensive trial experience. She regularly represents clients in contractual disputes, shareholder and joint venture disputes and injunctions, including relating to allegations of breach of employment and post-employment obligations.
Alexandra has experience of litigation in the High Court and Court of Appeal as well as the Supreme Court of Belize and the Privy Council, and also has extensive arbitration experience. Her experience includes representing the claimant in a High Court claim concerning the defendant’s failure to repay a substantial loan and involving complex jurisdiction, asset tracing and insolvency issues and acting for the respondent in a property rights dispute culminating in a 3-day hearing under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules.
