Georgina is a barrister, employment law and equality expert and experienced adviser to both senior executives and employers on a wide range of both contentious and non-contentious employment law issues.
Georgina has particular expertise in discrimination, harassment and personal injury claims, both within and outside the employment sphere, and including civil claims as well as Employment Tribunal disputes. She has represented clients in landmark cases relating to the use of non-disclosure agreements, non-consensual sharing of intimate images and sexual misconduct.
She is also a well-known adviser within the education sector, regarded as an expert in the field and trusted by universities and their students to advise on their most challenging discrimination and harassment cases. Together with the 1752 Group, Georgina was responsible for publishing proposed guidance for the university sector on handling allegations made by students of staff sexual misconduct.
Georgina has worked in the legal sector in both the US and the UK. Since her call to the Bar over 20 years ago, she has worked for the international law firm Coudert Brothers in Washington DC, Sonnenschein, Nath and Rosenthal in Chicago and New York and then McAllister Olivarius, where she headed the UK practice, in London. She is a member of Middle Temple.
